The raven and the sparrow

In the arctic Raven Myth the raven is the main figure, but the sparrow is just as important.

In the beginning we meet the raven as a blind colossus stocked in darkness and clay, but the small sparrow bird sees through the darkness and brings him to new places in the unfinished world. On that journey the raven see the need for change and creation. 

The Raven creates the world suitable for human beings, but the sparrow is the force that in a joyful way shows him the needs and possibility.

At a certain point in the story the raven says to the sparrow: “You were here, before I even found myself squatting in the darkness.”
